What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the service:

• Account data — your email address and authentication state (we use magic-link sign-in, so we do not store passwords).
• Companies you submit — the names and careers-page URLs you ask us to discover and monitor.
• Job data — the structured public job postings our engine extracts from those careers pages.
• Usage data — API and dashboard request logs, rate-limit counters, and basic diagnostics.

What we do not collect

whitecontext monitors publicly available careers pages. We do not collect personal data about job applicants, and we do not buy, sell, or enrich personal contact data. The job postings we store are public listings, not individuals' records.

How we use data

We use your data to discover and monitor the companies you add, deliver job feeds through the dashboard, API, and MCP server, enforce plan limits, secure the service, and communicate with you about your account.

We do not use your submitted companies or job feeds to train public models or share them with other customers.

Where data lives

whitecontext runs entirely on Cloudflare's platform. Account and job data are stored in Cloudflare D1, and run artifacts in Cloudflare R2, within Cloudflare's network. Discovery runs execute in isolated Cloudflare Sandboxes that are torn down after each run.

Third parties

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to operate:

• Cloudflare — hosting, storage, compute, and email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid plans (Stripe receives billing details directly; we do not store card numbers).

We share data with these providers only to the extent needed to run the service.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep account and company data for as long as your account is active. Job-feed history is retained according to your plan. When you delete a company or close your account, we remove the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data from the dashboard, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor verified requests to exercise them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, announced in-app or by email.
